In short: your journal entries belong to you. We can't see them.

2. The HappyDi app
Journal data: All entries, photos, goals and settings are stored only on your device and – if you choose the “iCloud” storage option – in your private iCloud (Apple CloudKit). With “Only on this iPhone” your data never leaves your device. We run no server for this data and have no access to it. Apple's privacy policy applies to processing in iCloud.
No account, no ads, no tracking: The app uses no analytics or advertising services and no third-party SDKs.
Content: Quotes and pictures of the day are included in the app; no data is transmitted for them.
Distribution and purchases: HappyDi is available exclusively through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We receive no payment data, only anonymised sales statistics from Apple.
Notifications: Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone.
Sharing and export: Content only leaves the app when you share or export it yourself.
3. This website
Hosting: This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. Technically necessary data (IP address, date/time, page, browser) is processed in server log files to provide the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 7 days.
No cookies, no analytics: We use no cookies and no tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Email: If you write to us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
